On the Shores of Dreams

Between sleep and wakefulness I lie
On the very shores of my dreams
With champagne-kissed sands beneath my feet,
And a fury of clouds in the sky

My world melting, paint running by
Unclear, dissolving, spreading seams
To paint a water-color world where we meet
When between sleep and wakefulness I lie
